Gigahertz Optik Inc. Equipped with a PD1 detector, the PT-9610 laser power/noise signal analyzer from Gigahertz Optik Inc. is suitable for applications such as laser scanning microscopy, in which changes in intensity or inherent stability negatively affect the process. The handheld device measures average power as well as the time structure of the power in the form of modulation over a range from 1 µW to 90 mW (647 nm). It displays the mean power, including its modulation component, or only the modulated component, in absolute power (W), or as a relative value related to the power, in six user-selectable evaluation modes.
