Laser Components (UK) Ltd. The LT-FS color recognition system from Laser Components (UK) Ltd. compensates for differences in color perception by comparing every object with a precalibrated color that is stored via a single-step process. The user sets the color level and tolerance and can enter 32 colors with a programmable control system or via a computer. High-speed color recognition and multiple measurements per object increase accuracy by producing average values. The RGB components are measured by regulated white-LED illumination and a sensor. A microprocessor calculates and stores the color values, against which new measurements are compared and are either accepted as identical or within tolerance, or rejected.
