Tunable Lasers New Focus Inc. has introduced the TLB-7000 and TLB-7000-XP StableWave series tunable lasers, which operate at 633, 780 and 850 nm with output powers >50 mW. The compact laser head is monolithically designed, has no adjustable components and integrates into a variety of setups in the laboratory and in the field. The 633- and 850-nm TLB-7000 instruments are suitable for in-field phase-shift interferometry, atomic cooling, metrology and spectroscopy applications, and for atomic clocks. They offer <600-kHz linewidths over tuning ranges up to 150 GHz. The 780- and 850-nm TLB-7000-XP models are laboratory versions that deliver 50 mW and <300-kHz linewidths over 70-GHz tuning ranges.
