PolyScience has enhanced its line of Durachill portable chillers with the addition of ambient temperature tracking to their standard features of air or water cooling, a 1.5- to 25-hp compressor, one-touch temperature control with LED and digital pressure/flow rate readouts, a flow meter, a stainless steel pump and remote on/off. Alarms indicate a harmful flow rate, temperature or pressure. Cooling capacities range from 17,732 to 273,600 Btu/h, and processing temperatures between 0 and 35 °C. The chillers cool based on room or machine temperature and are suitable for lasers, metal cutting and welding equipment, and for sputtering systems.
