Vibration Isolation Halcyonics GmbH has added solid, welded support frames as standard to its Mod-1L and Mod-1XL tabletop vibration isolation systems, and is calling the two new versions Workstation 1L plus and Workstation 1XL plus. The frames strengthen the connection between the tabletop units and the floor, providing enhanced vibration isolation for nanotechnology applications such as creating and analyzing small structures. The company offers active resonance dampers as an option to minimize any resonance that might be generated from the support frames themselves.
