Amplifiers The Legend series from Coherent Inc. comprises diode-pumped, ultrafast, Ti:sapphire regenerative amplifiers designed for photochemistry, spectroscopy and optical parametric amplifier (OPA) pumping. Legend-USP produces 30- to 50-fs pulses; Legend-F, <130 fs; and Legend-P, <2 ps. Legend-Dual is available in both pico- and femtosecond configurations. All achieve 1- and 5-kHz repetition rates and come in both standard and high-energy models. They are wavelength-tunable from 750 to 900 nm and can pump multiple OPAs for broader tunability. Second- and third-harmonic generators are available optionally for higher power and tunability from the deep-UV to the visible.
