Galvanometer Scanner The Model 6215H closed-loop galvanometer scanner from Cambridge Technology Inc. has a high rms acceleration rate and is designed for high-frequency scanning applications such as raster scanning for microscopy, display, projection, inspection, imaging, optical coherence tomography and other 1- to 6-mm aperture applications. The company says that with the 60-W, 54-mm-tall device, imaging customers have achieved 2-kHz scanning speeds, and laser projection users have attained 60k points per second at 7.5°. The Model 6215H provides a more than 50% increase in maximum rms frequency, compared with the company's CTI 6210 units.
