RAMAN Excitation Lasers The BRM series high-resolution, narrow-linewidth, wavelength-stabilized lasers from B&W Tek Inc. are designed for Raman excitation and other spectroscopic applications. The company says that they are compact and highly stable over a wide temperature range. At 785 nm, the typical laser linewidth is ~0.2 nm; custom wavelengths also can be ordered. Output powers that are available in a 100-µm fiber are 350 or 550 mW. OEM and turnkey models have optimized drivers and built-in modulation controls.
