Spectrophotometry Introduced by NanoDrop Technologies Inc. for use with its ND-1000 spectrophotometer, V 3.0.0 software features dedicated modules for protein and cell density measurement, as well as user account management capability. It will be installed on all new ND-1000s and is available as a free upgrade to current customers. The cell culture module enables direct measurement of concentrated cell suspensions using a 1-mm path length. The software includes three protein quantitation modules. Protein concentration can be measured directly at 280 nm using one of six calculation options, or indirectly using the standard calibration curve functionality of the Bradford and BCA protein assays.
