The LRS-9424 laser reliability system from ILX Lightwave Corp. tests TO-can and TOSA-packaged lasers and LEDs. It can be configured for up to 1024 TO-can devices and with multiple test temperatures in a single chamber for life-test applications. Individual fixture heaters and temperature controls achieve ±1 °C accuracy and ±0.5 °C stability throughout the test cycle. Modular electronics with drive current ranges of up to 500 mA are available, and fixtures can accommodate 32, 64 or 128 devices. Test temperatures from 25 to 150 °C are supported.
