473-nm Blue Laser Diode Module
LITTLE ROCK, Ark., March 29 -- At 473 ± 5 nm, Power Technology Inc.'s 4-mW IQ is the newest addition to its family of blue laser diode modules. An efficient, lower noise alternative to 473 nm Nd:YAG lasers, the blue instrument-quality module features a precision current source and a PID temperature control loop. This exceptional temperature control makes the 473-nm IQ particularly useful for applications that demand stable wavelength and output. Applications include fluorescence, spectroscopy, high-resolution printing, interferometry and microscopy.

The 473nm IQ is available with standard elliptical output or with a circularized beam. The module can operate in either constant current or automatic power control mode and is available with CW or modulated output. In addition, the unit features an adjustable focus, quality glass optics, and optional beam expanding optics.
