Frankfurt Laser Co. has launched a line of high-power laser diodes for applications including spectroscopy, metrology, direct frequency doubling, Raman laser seeding and telecommunications. Distributed feedback models provide 50 mW at 785 nm, or 100 mW at 860 or 923 nm. They feature a linewidth of <0.1 nm and enable stable SLM performance. Distributed Bragg reflector versions at 1064 and 1083 nm provide 100 mW. They are tunable over 100 GHz and produce linewidths of <5 MHz.
