OBJECTIVE LENS Jenoptik Laser, Optik, Systeme GmbH, manufacturer of the Jenmetar 0.53×/43 objective lens, says that it enables high-resolution imaging of extended object fields onto a large CCD chip with high geometric precision. The image field is corrected for chip sizes up to 24 × 36 mm2 and can be used with CCD lines up to 43 mm in length. It achieves 16-µm object-side pixel resolution with ~0.5 magnification, a 45 × 68-mm2 object field and 8-µm pixels.
