Hitachi Denshi (Europe) has announced the addition of high-resolution, progressive-scan CCD cameras to its product line. Measuring 29 × 29 × 38.5 mm, the KP-M20, -M30 and -F30 models operate at 60 fps, and feature square pixels, a high-speed electronic shutter and frame-on-demand modes. They are resistant to high shock and vibration levels. Operating at 30 fps, the KP-F120 camera offers partial scanning to 190 fps, near-IR sensitivity and remote control. The KP-F200 and -F200CL operate at 24 fps and provide partial scans of up to 200 fps, while the KP-FD30 enables color performance with three automatic white-balance modes, slow-speed operation to 8 seconds per frame and RS-232C remote control.
