Anritsu Co.Request Info
Anritsu Co. has announced the MW9077A/A1 optical time-domain reflectometers for integration into systems that maintain optical communications lines and for detecting intrusions, flooding and other events that adversely affect network performance. The MW9077A operates at 1310 nm and the MW9077A1, at 1550 nm. Both achieve a dynamic range of 41 dB at 25 °C and 39 dB at 55 °C, and operate from –5 to 55 °C. Dead zones are 2 m, typical, for Fresnel reflection and 20 m for backscattered light. Minimum sampling resolution is 5 cm. Measuring 200 × 130 × 25 mm, they offer both an Ethernet and an RS-232C interface for external control of parameter setting and measurement of total fiber loss, interval loss between connectors, optical fiber length, and splice, connector and return loss.
