Jasco has unveiled its FT/IR-4000 and -6000 series Fourier transform infrared spectrometers that offer high sensitivity and several new features. The AccuTrac DSP mirror tracking system, based on a stable corner-cube interferometer, provides good reproducibility of mirror velocity and position, resulting in a high signal-to-noise ratio. The Quick Start System performs sample measurement and data processing, and an autoalignment feature maintains instrument performance. The FT/IR-6300 model has rapid scan capability for real-time analysis of reaction kinetics. All instruments can be upgraded to accommodate the addition of various detectors and microscopes.
