Anritsu Co.Request Info
Anritsu Co. has developed a MEMS technology that improves the performance of optical spectrum analyzers for high-speed dynamic spectrum monitoring of fiber Bragg grating sensors and photonic networks. The setup includes a MEMS optical scanner, lenses, a Faraday rotator, a diffraction grating and a photodiode. The angle of the scanner determines the wavelength that reaches the photodiode, and rotating it changes the wavelength. A 12-bit A/D converter switches the output signal to digital, and a PC processes the input light spectrum measurements and displays the results. Wavelength range is from 1525 to 1570 nm, scan rate is 2.6 ms, dynamic range is 33 dB, wavelength resolution bandwidth is 0.1 nm, and wavelength accuracy is 10 pm.
