Alternative to Nd:YAG Lasers
LAKE MARY, Fla., July 14 -- Laser Photonics has introduced a q-switched fiber laser marking system, a safe, compact, low-cost alternative to Nd:YAG lasers. It features independent components: Q-switched fiber laser up to 200 watts, scan head, PCI control board, power supply, and software configured for specific applications. Ease of installation and laser programming allows for quick start-up and changeover. This system requires a low-voltage power source and wall-plug efficiencies up to 20 percent (and higher), resulting in compact size, reduced utilities and trouble-free air-cooling. It can be delivered as an OEM system or with full turnkey workstations, such as our elite X/Y systems for extremely large scanning areas.
