The si425-130 and si-425-150 high-speed swept-wavelength lasers from Micron Optics Inc. are centered at 1300 and 1550 nm, respectively. Powered by high spectral intensity at rapid sweep rates, the devices enable real-time signal-to-noise ratio measurements in optical coherence tomographic imaging systems, near-IR spectroscopy and fiber optic sensor arrays. Using optical frequency domain reflectometry, they can produce noninvasive, rapid and high-resolution measurements of microstructures in translucent, transparent and scattering media.
