Matrox Imaging has introduced the Matrox Solios family of frame grabbers, which support PCI-X and FPGA technology. The XCL model supports either two independent Camera Link base ports or one Camera Link medium port. It captures from area- or line-scan cameras at up to 66 MHz and can reconstruct images from multitap cameras. The XA frame grabber has up to four independent inputs, each capable of high-fidelity video capture at a maximum rate of 65 MHz per input.
