MICROCAMERA The MN 400 microcamera produced by Elmo Mfg. Corp. is a high-resolution, 12-VDC one-piece color imager with a built-in CCU that eliminates the need for a separate control unit. It measures 0.75 × 0.75 × 3.15 in. and weighs 50 g. It has a 1/2-in. CCD with 410k pixels, a signal-to-noise ratio of 50 dB, and 480-TVL resolution. An RS-232C interface enables remote control capability. The company says the camera performs well at 2-lx illumination. Applications include machine vision and nondestructive testing.
