RAMAN SPECTROMETER Verax, a Raman spectrometer manufactured by InPhotonics Inc., is a compact fiber-coupled system for laboratory analysis. When configured for 785-nm excitation, it offers 4 cm21 spectral resolution and is suitable for research, rapid sample verifica-tion and process development. It is based on a high-throughput slitless spectrograph and a TE-cooled CCD detector that operates at 225 °C. Different range/resolution combinations are available in the visible and the near-IR to be used with various excitation lasers. It is compatible with any of the company's RamanProbe models for sample analysis and immersion measurements.
