Matrox Imaging has announced Matrox 4Sight M, the third generation of its self-contained imaging platform. Equipped with either an embedded Intel Celeron M or a Pentium M processor, the system features an ATA-100 hard drive and supports USB 2.0 and Gigabit Ethernet. Windows XP Embedded and the Matrox Imaging Library come installed, and optional frame grabbers can be purchased for image acquisition from a variety of analog sources, as well as from digital RS-422/LVDS, Camera Link or IEEE-1394 IIDC.
