HIGH-POWER LASER Advanced Optical Technology Ltd. has introduced the AOT-YAG-10QHP high-power, short-pulse Nd:YAG laser that produces a TEM00 beam of up to 1200 mW at 1064 nm and ~1.5-ns pulses at 2.5 kHz. It offers peak pulse power of >100 kW for efficient harmonic generation, and provides energy of up to ~120 µJ per pulse at 1064 nm, 50 µJ per pulse at 532 nm, 25 µJ per pulse at 355 nm and 15 µJ per pulse at 266 nm. The device is suitable for high-precision, high-speed materials microprocessing, remote sensing and detection, and scientific research.
