LOW-HEAT CURING SYSTEM A mercury-free printed wiring board curing system introduced by Xenon Corp. uses pulsed UV/VIS light to cure multifilm flexible circuit boards without damage. A xenon pulsed serpentine lamp with a 1 × 3-in. optical profile produces peak power from 405 to 1811 W/cm2 to penetrate and cure with low heat. The system has instant on/off, fast cycle times and a compact modular design for integration into stationary or moving host equipment. A power supply and controller are included.
