B&W Tek Inc. has released the BRF-2004 miniature array spectrofluorometer for fluorescence applications in the 200- to 1100-nm range. The preconfigured spectrometer features an aspherical lens that collects the maximum fluorescence signal from samples. Included software allows users to set their own parameters for gated phosphorescence detection, and the compact design provides portability for laboratory or field use. Applications include transmission, transflection and reflection measurement; fluorophores in liquids and powders; and biological, biomedical, chemical, flora and fauna analysis.
