VIDEO CAMERAS The Silicon Video 9M001 monochrome and 9M001C color CMOS camera systems offered by Epix Inc. deliver 1280 × 1024 10-bit capture at 30 fps. The compact systems for machine vision feature a Micron Inc. progressive-scan sensor, allow asynchronous capture and the recording of one or more images in response to a trigger signal, and provide a strobe output signal to synchronize an electronic flash. One cable connects the camera head to the Pixci serial interface PCI image capture board. The Xcap program provides a capture-and-adjust dialogue for selecting pixel clock frequency and other settings.
