SPOT-CURING SYSTEM Exfo Electro-Optical Engineering Inc. has introduced the OmniCure series 200 UV/VIS spot-curing system for medical device, microelectronics and optoelectronics manufacturing applications. It delivers repeatable cures through closed-loop feedback technology and has a manual iris that can be set at 1% increments to adjust light output. The system includes a 200-W lamp that supplies high-intensity curing with a life of 2000 h. Two lamp options are available, including a technology that ensures a smooth, tack-free surface finish when curing acrylic adhesives. The device also features the company's Intelli-Lamp technology for maintaining optimum lamp conditions for stable output.
