The In-Sight 5100C color vision and 5101 high-resolution models have been added to Cognex Corp.'s line of industrial-grade vision sensors. Meeting IEC specifications for shock and vibration, the self-contained sensors achieve an IP67 rating for dust and wash-down protection. They include a spreadsheet interface and In-Sight Explorer software for simplified application development and network administration. The In-Sight 5100C can be used for color inspection tasks in the automotive, food and beverage, and electronics industries. The 5101 is suitable for high-accuracy gauging in automotive or general assembly applications requiring increased resolution for inspecting small objects or capturing images of larger parts.
