PHOTOMETER PROXY Gigahertz-Optik Inc. has released the GJ18 system for industrial, automotive and aircraft lighting applications. The X1-1 optometer features a high-contrast four-line LCD with detector ID that simultaneously operates and displays up to four detector inputs for measuring color chromaticity coordinates, illuminance/luminance, correlated color temperature, UV/VIS/NIR irradiance/radiance, and luminous/radiant power. The system includes interchangeable GJ18 series detector heads, and it offers autoranging from 0.1 pA to 200 µA and a selectable integration time of 20 ms to 1 s. It includes a run/stop dose function, on/off backlighting and computer control via USB interface, and is available with Windows-based software.
