FABRY-PEROT LASER DIODES Frankfurt Laser Co. has launched a line of Fabry-Perot single-spatial-mode laser diodes that operate from 730 to 770 nm, with 5 to 50 mW of optical power. They are supplied in free-space TO-56, SOT-148 and TO-3 packages as well as in fiber-coupled butterfly and DIL-14 packages. Linewidth is <0.04 nm, and, the company says, the lasers demonstrate good wavelength and power output stability. Applications include medicine, spectroscopy, gas detection, sensors, measurement instruments and high-power laser seeding.
