TI:SAPPHIRE OSCILLATOR The Femtosource Rainbow Ti:sapphire oscillator offers stabilized sub-7-fs pulses and an average power of >200 mW, making it suitable for CE phase stabilization and a variety of processes in which intensity, spectral width and time resolution are important. The device, manufactured by Femtolasers Produktions GmbH, has a bandwidth of >300 nm at a center wavelength of 800 nm and a repetition rate of 78 MHz. The monolithic design, integrated pump laser and temperature-stabilized housing support long- and short-term stability of all laser parameters. The company says that the instrument, combining an optical design with its dispersive mirror technology, offers 50% shorter pulses than standard oscillators.
