New features include additional platforms, support for programmable shaders, OpenGL 1.5 texture extensions, direct import of OpenFlight files, improved transparency, support for X3D nodes, FastEdit mode and an interactive scene graph editing tool. The company offers extensions that allow the developer to mix and match to create a customized tool kit. The software provides real-time 3-D visualization.
