Innovation Matrix Inc.'s GT series motion control cards are designed for use with a PC. The GT-200, -400 and -800 are two-, four- and eight-axis motion control cards, respectively, suitable for controlling multiaxis equipment such as robotics, and engraving and milling machines. They include programmable sampling periods, with a minimum interpolation cycle time of 200 µs for four axes and a 25-µs minimum control cycle for single-axis motion. The cards have adjustable following-error, acceleration and output limits to ensure safe and reliable control. Features include on-the-fly update motion control parameters, high-performance DSP and FPGA technology, PID digital filters, servo-/step motor controls, and 32-bit position and parameter registers.
