Maximize Light Extraction Efficiency
LATHAM, N.Y., Feb. 18 -- Cotco TBL Series LEDs are only available through Marktech Optoelectronics, a designer of LEDs for more than 15 years. Cotco Luminant Devices Ltd. has chosen Marktech to handle all of its North American technical sales and marketing for its high-performance LED line.

Cotco TBL Blue series LEDs use the most recent advances in InGaN/SiC technology. The die process combines highly efficient InGaN materials with a silicon carbide (SiC) substrate in a geometrically enhanced Epi-down chip structure designed to maximize light extraction efficiency.
The material also incorporates a current distribution layer that requires only a single wire bond for increased LED reliability. The vertically structured LED chips are approximately 115 microns in height and require a low forward voltage. This die improvement to Cotco's high-brightness LED family enhances the performance of a wide variety of applications, such as decorative lighting, full-color video screens, mobile appliance lighting and automotive illumination.
With luminous intensities of up to 12,000 mcd, the TBL blue LEDs from Cotco provide a luminous intensity that is significantly brighter than products currently on the market. TBL Blue LEDs are available in 5-mm round and elliptical package styles in a variety of viewing angles.

In addition to the Cotco line of LEDs, Marktech offers Toshiba Tosbright LEDs and Toshiba Constant Current LED drivers along with a wide variety of standard discrete LEDs, surface mounts, displays and photo sensors.
