HIGH-SPEED IMAGING LASER The Pulslight Ltd. copper bromide vapor laser for high-speed imaging applications delivers 20 kW of peak power with 30-ns pulse duration. Repetition rate is automatically adjustable, dependent upon the triggering signal, between 1 and 20 kHz, and fiber emits 511- (green) or 578-nm (yellow) wavelengths, or both simultaneously. Intracavity acousto-optic modulation provides easy TTL triggering, without the need for external filtering. Other features of the turnkey instrument include sealed-off regime of laser tube operation, an integrated head and power supply, and 10-min instant start-up. Repetition rates of up to 50 kHz are available upon request.
