A high-speed sensor array has been introduced by arsenco ag for continuous noncontact process monitoring in thermal coating, adhesion, cutting and welding applications. The measuring head provides data at an adjustable speed of up to 15 kHz, and minimal integration time for the sensor is <1 µs. The infrared system can be synchronized either as a stand-alone unit or in conjunction with external devices. A computer controls the camera as well as data acquisition and recording. The sensor features 128 pixels per line, multispectral sensitivity from 3 to 12 µm and a Camera Link interface.
