LENS SPECTROGRAPH Princeton Instruments and Acton Research Corp. have released the HTS, an f/1.8 lens imaging spectrograph optimized for fiber optic light collection. Suitable for Raman and luminescence spectroscopy applications, the instrument has an internal shutter, manual micrometer wavelength tuning and a bilateral entrance slit manually adjustable from 10 µm to 3 mm. Two interchangeable gratings, 600 and 830 g/mm, enable operation over the unit's 400- to 950-nm range. Included are a calibration table and industry-standard WinSpec and SpectraSense application software. The device is fully compatible with Princeton Instruments' line of digital cameras.
