PULSE GENERATORS With Quantum Composers' 9500Plus series pulse generators, the user can multiplex several channel pulses onto one output to create complex pulse trains for flashlamps, Q-switches and shutters. Up to eight events or instruments can be synchronized, up to eight independent channels can be digitally controlled, and multiplexing between channels can be performed. Up to 12 configurations can be stored. Delay ranges are selectable from 0 to 1000 s, with pulse widths from 10 ns to 1000 s. Operating modes include continuous, burst, duty-cycle and single-shot with external trigger/gate. Resolution is 1 ns with <400-ps jitter. Standard interfaces are RS-232, USB and GPIB, with Ethernet available as an option.
