ULTRABROADBAND MIRROR Semrock Inc. has announced that, because of improvements in the manufacturing process, its ultrabroadband MaxMirror is available in a 2-in.-diameter version for use in imaging systems or for the delivery of large optical beams. Exhibiting >99% reflectivity for wavelengths from 350 to 1100 nm, for any polarization state and for angles of incidence from 0° to 50° simultaneously, it has a high laser damage threshold. The mirror is suitable for applications that require steering a wide range of wavelengths of arbitrary polarization, particularly from multiwavelength laser systems such as Nd:YAGs operating at 1064, 532 and 355 nm.
