National Instruments' CF-6004 is a 14-bit data-acquisition device that plugs into the CompactFlash slot on a photodiode array, turning it into a handheld, portable measurement tool. It provides single-channel sampling on four analog input channels and has four lines of digital I/O for controlling and measuring low-voltage transistor-transistor logic or low-voltage CMOS signals. Engineers can define their instruments in the LabView graphical programming environment for Pocket PC and Palm OS and deploy them to their PDAs to acquire, analyze and view data.
