LINE-SCAN LENSES Jos. Schneider Optische Werke GmbH has added a 0.33× version to its line of 5.6/120 line-scan lenses for ultrahigh-resolution 12k line-scan cameras. Marketed under the company's Makro-Symmar name, the lenses feature image circles of up to 62 mm for 5-µm-pixel-size cameras. Their large coverage area, high resolution and distortion rate of 0.1% enable use of 8k and 12k cameras to improve productivity in surface and web inspection applications.
