The VibroMet MB-LDV manufactured by MetroLaser Inc. is a scanning multibeam laser Doppler vibrometer. The easy-to-use noncontact instrument simultaneously measures vibrations at multiple -- 16, typically -- locations on a target, with high sensitivity, enabling transient events to be accurately measured. The relative phase between measurement locations can generate modal vibration patterns in a single shot. A linear scanner is optional.
