PULSED FLASHLAMPS Xenon Corp. custom-manufactures mercury-free xenon pulsed flashlamps in point source, linear, spiral, ring and serpentine shapes. They focus high-energy pulsed light onto a specific target or optical footprint from a spot size of up to a 15-in. outer diameter, and can be produced for the UV to the IR and finished with end caps or graded seals. Designed for start/stop applications, they deliver peak energy that is 100,000 times more powerful than the sun. The company says that they consume less energy than CW mercury lamps and do not create or use volatile organic compounds or suspended airborne particulates.
