PUMP LASER MODULES Lumics GmbH has unveiled its next-generation LU1064M200 pump laser modules with kink-free power of up to 200 mW, continuous wave, and peak power of up to 1.2 W. The 1064-nm fiber-coupled laser modules are housed in a low-profile 14-pin butterfly package and also are available in a wavelength-stabilized version with a fiber Bragg grating. Maximum operating current at 200 mW is 450 mA with typical forward voltage of 1.7 V, and typical threshold current is 45 mA. The systems include a thermoelectric cooler.
