New Products Released to Measure LEDs and Lamps
NORTH SUTTON, N.H., July 20 -- Labsphere Inc., a maker of light measurement technology, has released its SLMS-1000 and SLMS-2000 integrating sphere spectral lamp measurement systems. Each SLMS photometer is a diode array spectroradiometer based around a 10- or 20-inch diameter integrating sphere which provides a means of determining the spectral, radiometric, photometric and colorimetric properties of small lamps and high brightness LEDs.
SLMS spectral measurement systems can be used to determine the performance of lamps, packaged and clustered LEDs, lamp assemblies, luminaires, displays, display backlights and automotive lighting.
The SLMS design conforms to international standards and recommendations for design and methodology, and the system software computes radiant and luminous flux. Spectral properties are also calculated, such as chromaticity, correlated color temperature, dominant wavelength, purity and color rendering indices, peak, central, and centroid wavelength and spectral bandwidth.
