PHOTODIODE HEAD The PD300-3W released by Ophir Optronics Inc. is a photodiode laser power head with power density up to 150 W/cm2 and a spectral response from 350 to 1100 nm. The power range is from nanowatts to 3 W. Automatic background subtraction cancels 95% to 98% of background under normal room conditions, even when they continuously change. For pulsed lasers, the PD300-3W has a maximum pulse energy of 20 µJ with the filter out and 500 µJ with the filter in. It is compatible with all of the laserstar series displays.
