NP Photonics has expanded its line of Scorpion single-frequency fiber lasers with the introduction of the Scorpion Brillouin model that delivers light of high spectral purity with a linewidth of 200 Hz. It is offered in a stand-alone unit, with 25 mW of CW output. It operates over the eye-safe wavelengths of the C-band, from 1530 to 1565 nm. Its all-fiber design protects against environmental disturbances, and integrated electronic controls ensure low frequency an intensity noise.
