Photonics Industries International Inc. has released the DS40 diode-pumped solid-state Q-switched lasers that produce up to 25 W of UV radiation at 355 nm at 50 kHz. The lasers provide a range of pulse energies, and pulse repetition rates of >150 kHz. With the company's end-pump design, the lasers deliver TEM00 beam mode quality with M2<1.2 in diffraction-limited mode. They are available at 50 W for 1064 nm, at 35 W for 532 nm and at 5 W for 266 nm.
