The TIMS-1100 produced by Jova Solutions, Inc. is a CMOS image sensor test instrument that communicates with and tests a variety of digital image sensors, cameras on a chip and digital cameras. It connects with the host PC via a single USB interface and uses USB 2.0 high speed to achieve up to 450 Mb/s image and data transfer rates. It includes a full function digital frame grabber with flexible timing and clocking capabilities. I2C communication is included as well as a programmable clock that runs at up to 68 MHz. Data paths that are 8 or 16 bits wide are available. A triple output battery simulator power supply renders the image sensor test electronics device self-contained.
